Cyst, mole, lipoma, skin tag, and keloid are typically benign, but can be annoying and concerning at times. Excisions are typically done in the office under local anesthetic. The tissue is then sent to a pathologist to check for any unsuspected abnormality. Stitches are placed to close the incisions. Proper follow up is needed to make sure you’re healing well.
