What is the recovery?

Some discomfort is normal and can be controlled with over-the-counter pain medications. The skin at the end of the threads, typically hidden close to the hair bearing area, are often bunched up and will smooth out over the next 4-6 weeks. You do not want to put pressure on your face for the next week after treatment. You are recommended to sleep on your back with your head elevated to reduce swelling for 2 weeks. Although the result of the lift can be seen immediately after the procedure, the final result of the procedure is not seen until 4-6 weeks after the procedure.
